The Empty Vase
Conceptual design and co-creation with internal teams for the luxury florist and event planner, located in West Hollywood, CA.
Kat worked with The Empty Vase on several custom prop projects, including conceptualizing a giant octopus shape installed over a chandelier during an ocean-themed event. Kat drew the initial design and worked with the client's fabricator to create the metal frame portion. She then patterned and sewed the outer lining. Kat also hand-painted two custom surfboards for the event.
Additionally, Kat hand-painted the sign above The Empty Vase's West Hollywood store.
